Toitoi – Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre is a multi-venue events centre in Hastings CBD, offering spaces for shows, conferences, weddings, business meetings, dinners, awards shows and private functions.
Our seven venues range from the heritage 1915 Opera House to the modern Functions on Hastings, with room for anything from a small meeting to a function for up to 950 guests (or more across our combined spaces). Each is available for hire, so whether you're planning a conference, a wedding, an awards show, a small meeting or bringing your show to Toitoi, there's a space to suit.
Our events team works with you from your first enquiry through to the day itself, helping you choose the right space and plan the details around it. Whatever you're planning, big or small, we'll help shape an event that fits.
Toitoi owns its own lighting, sound and audio-visual equipment, and it's all based on site. Our in-house technical team designs and installs packages to suit events of any size. This means your technical package isn't a generic hire, our team knows the building, the equipment and how the two work together, and can tailor a solution specifically for your event.
Dish is Toitoi's exclusive in-house caterer, with menus built around fresh, seasonal Hawke's Bay produce. From a working lunch to a full evening function, Dish tailors its approach to suit the event, whether that's simple, efficient catering between conference sessions or a multi-course dinner for a gala.
