Planning a wedding doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. It can be simple, personal, and exactly what you need. Since 2005, I’ve had the privilege of standing alongside couples and their whanau as they celebrate love .As a wedding celebrant based in Tauranga, I specialise in creating ceremonies that feel authentic, personal, and perfectly suited to each client. Whether it’s a pop-up wedding, same-sex marriage, registry-style ceremony, second-time-around union or a quick no-fuss wedding my role is to listen, understand, and craft a service that reflects each unique story. One of my most memorable ceremonies was conducted just two weeks after a bride had sadly lost her mother. The ceremony became a beautiful balance of joy and grief — a true reflection of life’s complexity. These moments remind me why I do this work. Clients often tell me they feel relaxed and at ease, knowing I will listen carefully to their wishes. My advice to every couple? Don’t stress — embrace the day and treasure every moment. He rā nui, he wā kotahi i tō oranga. Originally from the Manawatu, my journey included years working with Voluntary Service Abroad (VSA), supporting communities in developing countries. Now back in beautiful Tauranga, I also volunteer at the local social supermarket and help run a thriving community garden in Brookfield. How can we work together? Me mihi — it is my privilege to help mark life’s most significant moments with warmth, care, and respect. If you’re planning a ceremony or would simply like to kōrero, feel free to reach out.
