Te Matapihi - Bulls Community Events Centre is ideal for your next conference, corporate event, team meeting or work function.
This newly built building is a very versatile space and can accommodate every type of event from corporate events and conferences, reunions, productions and guest speakers. Te Matapihi has 5 different spaces available, including one of the only roof top terrace spaces, in the Manawatū - Whanganui region. It is an ideal location for your dusk work function with a classy twist or just a space to be in the open air with the comfort and convenience of rooms either side.
The modern purpose built building has rooms and spaces that can seat 10 people up to 250 and we can work with you to find the space that suits your event or function.
Town Hall
The main function hall at Te Matapihi comes with a fully function stage, easy-to-use projector and AV system, lighting and curtains if required for your event. The room can be set up a number of different ways, from banquet styles table layout, to round tables, or theatre style.
Whether you are planning your corporate function, or a fundrasing event, this space can work for you! Catering facilities are available, an in-built commercial kitchen. Being half way between Palmerston North and Whanganui adds to it’s versatility.
Ohakea Room
Positioned on the top floor, Ohakea is the perfect space for your board meetings, staff meeting or community group catch up!
The room has fantastic technology with a 70” smart TV that has easy laptop connectivity through HDMI and full Zoom meeting capacity, set up with chairs and tables, and white board available for use. Boardroom seating is comfortable for up to 20 people, but can be reset into numerous seating options depending on your booking requirements.
Santoft Room
Located in the southern end of the building, the Santoft Room is a unique space with stunning views!
The room has fantastic technology with a 70” smart TV that has easy laptop connectivity through HDMI and full Zoom meeting capacity, set up with chairs and tables, and white board available for use. Boardroom seating is available for up to 20 people, and can be reset into numerous seating options depending on your booking requirements.
There is also a small kitchenette, giving you the opportunity to provide drinks, coffee, and catering, for your team.
Scotts Ferry Room
Located on the top floor of Te Matapihi, this room is perfect for a quick meeting with only few in attendance. There is a TV screen available for you, with easy HDMI connectivity to your laptop.
You also have the option to hire out the entire center which gives you the use of the hall, kitchen, 3 top floor meeting rooms and the rooftop terrace.
