After almost 50 years of providing excellent service, understanding our corporate guests’ requirements is second nature. Close to Christchurch Airport, our conference venue and facilities are ideal for product launches, national conferences, seminars, planning retreats and special occasion banquets. Conference rooms at the Commodore seat up to 200 theatre style, with car parking for 150 cars.
The Head of Avon Combined Meeting Room
The Head of Avon South located on level two with its entrance opposite the swimming pool, is designed to cater to all your conferencing needs. Starting from the layout of the seating to the equipment that is required, all can be customised to your liking. The Head of Avon South can accommodate up to 85 people.
The Head of Avon North
The Head of Avon North is another one of our fully customisable conference rooms located on level two beside the Mainland Room. It can accommodate up to 85 people with a host of conferencing facilities at your disposal
The Mainland Room
The Mainland Room is located on level two above the Reception and can accommodate up to 50 people. The walls of the Mainland Room have a beautiful display of assorted paintings which set the atmosphere for a good meeting. Like all conference rooms, the Mainland Room is fully customisable to your business needs.
The Conference Room Four
The Conference Room Four is ideal for small groups of up to 40 people. Located on level two beside the south east entrance of the Kowhai Wing, it has all the facilities offered by our larger rooms, yet spacious enough to make room for a comfortable meeting.
The Conference Room Five
The Conference Room Five is designed to make your business seem like pleasure. Located on level two beside the south east entrance of the Kowhai Wing, it can accommodate up to 60 people and is fully customisable to your business needs.
The Endeavour Room
The Endeavour Room is ideal for having Board meetings. It can accommodate up to 12 people which makes it ideal for small groups, interviews and board meetings. With fully customisable facilities, the Endeavour Room is located at the entrance of the Commodore Hotel right beside the reception.
The Ward Room
The Ward Room is ideal for having meetings followed by lunches. Its large windows and beautiful views provide the perfect atmosphere for a business lunch. Located at level one adjoining the restaurant, it can accommodate up to 60 people with fully customisable facilities.
