Tucked away in the Historic brick buildings of the Napier Woollen Company’s Mill is a unique venue waiting to be discovered! Set in a valley of majestic gum trees in Napier’s hill, the songs of our resident birds fill the air. Hidden within the 1923 façade is a delightful brick courtyard garden full of flowers and lush greenery- it is ideal for smaller weddings of up to 100 guests in the garden with seating for 90 in the restaurant downstairs.. The surrounding buildings were built in 1902 and all are in the NZ Historic Places Trust. We welcome you to celebrate here & let us help you create your day to be remembered!
Hold your ceremony in the courtyard garden, walk through the gates as your guests line veranda and pathway and get married by the fountain. If it rains, don’t worry the indoor area is just as romantic.
You may chose to arrive after you are married, and relax with your guests while you enjoy a glass of bubbles, wine or beer in the garden. Later, move downstairs to the warm, candle-lit atmosphere of our character-filled dining room (which you have decorated as you like it, the day before). A gourmet buffet meal is served before the evening winds up with dancing ‘till late”.
