The NZ Careers Expo has been partnering with training organisations, employers and industry organisations for the past 30 years. With a clear and simple objective of equipping New Zealand youth with information and networks to assist them in their transition from secondary school to the world of work.
The need has never been greater than now, with the impact of COVID-19 on the employment and training environment. Our young people, more than ever, need to know what the future holds for them in the way of career prospects and how best to navigate their way through these challenging times. We need to engage with individuals to install a real sense of opportunity and support them in their journey.
2021 also sees us facing a massive shift in the employment market, with many people being displaced, or needing to find new pathways into a job or career, following the impacts of COVID-19 on the economy and employment. The NZ Career Expos, timed for August and September in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch will provide a supportive and informative platform for connecting with these individuals.
