Within our beautiful refurbished homestead, we have a number of rooms to accommodate your corporate or conferencing needs. On the ground floor our Russell Room is the formal dining room/reception area, accommodating up to 100 people. Upstairs overlooking the gardens, we have our Boardroom, ideal for small conferences and meetings for groups up to 60. Our Rata Room accommodates a smaller group of up to 20 and we have an additional meeting room suitable or used as a breakout space.
If you’re thinking big, Wharerata is part of the Turitea Campus events group that includes the Sport & Rugby Institute and National Events and Sponsorship team. Close to the city, airport and accomodation venues, we are positioned to welcome and host any size and style of conference from 50-500 delegates. With superb meeting venues on-site, amply supported by across-campus venues.
