Stardome is a truly unique venue. We offer a range of spaces suitable for businesses, community groups, children’s birthday parties and more. Choose a private room or hire our whole venue! We have several package options and a suite of spaces available for hire, including NZ’s largest 360-degree planetarium theatre.

Full Venue Hire
Hire Stardome’s entire site and get full access to all our facilities. This includes the Planetarium Theatre, Gallery & Exhibits space, the Space Room, and The Matariki Room. Make the occasion extra-special and include a telescope experience (weather permitting).

Matariki Room Hire
The Matariki Room is a light, airy space with views of One Tree Hill Domain. It’s ideal for meetings, conferences, team days, or functions. Room hire includes:
- All audio-visual equipment
- Data projector
- Large screen
- WiFi
- TV
- Whiteboard
There is access to a private kitchen suitable for external catering staff to use. Minimum three-hour hire. Capacity (by seating style)

Space Room (Space Room hire is included in full venue hire only)
The Space Room is a large conference room set in the heart of Stardome. Seating up to 100 people theatre style, this space is ideal for larger workshops or conferences.
