The Old Oak Boutique Hotel offers an intimate venue for your meeting, conference, or retreat. The Old Oak is a 4-star hotel with six unique rooms and a “Meeting House” which was first used as an event space more than 150 years ago. Be part of a continuing tradition by hosting your event in this charming and stylish historic place.
The Meeting House is a 62 sq. meter historic kauri timber building located in the shade of our old oak tree. It is adjacent to the main hotel, and features harbour views inside and out. A fenced brick-lined courtyard is front of the building, overlooking the waterfront and vineyards on Paewhenua Island.
The venue consists of one large open plan area. Tables and chairs can be arranged to suit your needs. To one side, there is lounge seating furnished with small sofas. A short corridor provides access to two dedicated toilets. Break out sessions can be conducted in the lounge area and courtyard.
This venue is suitable for events of up to 20 persons. The meeting house and ablution block are disabled-accessible. There is on-site parking.
