Consider choosing a location to celebrate the life of your loved ones with a memorial service in the beautifully tranquil setting of the renowned Markovina Estate.

We will work with you to honour their memory in a befitting manner,which will allow you to express your love to your dearly departed with all the personal touches you would like expressed.

No matter what culture or religion, we can assist you with all the finer details of putting together a memorial ceremony that reflects. With full venue facilities available, on site catering, licensed premises and ample parking available.

Warm, inviting & open

Our venue offers something quite different from your standard funeral home or hall. The memorial service would be located in front of our large schist fireplace, which has a large peaked ceiling, but also surrounded by glass to give you that feeling of being part of nature.

This area works well for intimate funerals but can seat over 200 if required. We can also open the venue for further seating in our main events space ensuring ample space for much larger funerals.


Each of our memorial service packages include catering, giving you freedom to have a very simple meal or alternatively enjoy a feast with your close family and friends while you reminisce. All of our catering options include tea, filter coffee, water and orange juice.

Venue Facilities

When hiring our venue we include a number of items as part of our inclusive package at no additional cost. These include:

  • PA sound system – Garden, surround & funeral ceremony speakers
  • Cordless microphones – Two cordless microphones available
  • Funeral ceremony seating – We provide a seat for everyone who is attending
  • Table Settings – We have seating for guests when enjoying their meal
  • Staffing – We provide staffing as part of our event costs
  • Backup Generator – If we lose power, we have a backup ready to go
